George Floyd’s video recorded murder makes international news; national protests commence and companies and institutions begin publishing statements regarding the Black Lives Matter movement.
Dr. Regina Stanback Stroud and Dr. Ed Bush discuss the need to have “village time” with all of the Black folks who work in the California Community Colleges. The conversation in part would focus on how we can move collectively with pro black anti-racist work.
Dr. Teresa Aldredge, Dr. Tammy Robinson, and Dr. Stacy Thompson join the dialogue and planning for creating a coalition that would soon become the village.
Ms. Dugas, Dr. Bush, Dr. Stanback Stroud, Dr. Aldredge, Dr. Thompson and Dr. Robinson developed a draft agenda for a Call to Action for Black educators.
